You are to practice My ordinances and you are to keep My statutes by following them; I am Yahweh your God.

Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

And the land itself has become unclean; so that I have sent on it the reward of its wrongdoing, and the land itself puts out those who are living in it.

But you are to keep My statutes and ordinances. You must not commit any of these detestable things—not the native or the foreigner who lives among you.

(for all these abominations have the men of the land done who are before you, and the land is defiled),

So you are not to let the land vomit you up because of your uncleanness as it is vomiting the nations that were here before you.

for any one who doth any of all these abominations -- even the persons who are doing so, have been cut off from the midst of their people;

Thus you are to keep My charge, that you do not practice any of the abominable customs which have been practiced before you, so as not to defile yourselves with them; I am the Lord your God.’”
