Practice these things; be committed to them, so that your progress may be evident to all. Pay close attention to your life and your teaching; persevere in these things, for by doing this you will save both yourself and your hearers.
Therefore, brothers, make every effort to confirm your calling and election, because if you do these things you will never stumble.
Carefully observe the commands of the Lord your God, the decrees and statutes He has commanded you.
So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.
“Only be on your guard and diligently watch yourselves, so that you don’t forget the things your eyes have seen and so that they don’t slip from your mind as long as you live. Teach them to your children and your grandchildren.
I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.
