Jehovah is good and decent. That is why he teaches sinners the way they should live.
Jehovah said: I will make all my goodness pass in front of you. I will call out my name, JEHOVAH. I will be kind to anyone I want to. I will be merciful to anyone I want to.
In dealing with faithful people you are faithful. With innocent people you are innocent. With pure people you are pure. In dealing with devious people you are clever.
They make it known that Jehovah is upright. He is my rock. He is never unrighteous.
The path of the righteous is level. O upright One, you make the way of the righteous smooth.
Be perfect (mature), even as your Father in heaven is perfect (mature). (Leviticus 19:2)
Tell the entire congregation of Israel: 'Be holy because I, Jehovah your God, am holy.
The reason is because I am Jehovah your God. You must live holy lives. Consecrate yourselves and be holy because I am holy. Never become unclean by touching anything that swarms or crawls on the ground. I am Jehovah! I brought you out of Egypt to be your God. Be holy because I am holy.
Because it is written: You shall be holy for I am holy.
Having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness with deep reverence for God.
Finally brothers, farewell: Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

The law of Jehovah is perfect. It gives new life. The testimony of Jehovah is dependable. It makes the simple wise. The statutes of Jehovah are correct. They make the heart rejoice. The commandments of Jehovah are radiant. They make the eyes shine. The reverence of Jehovah is pure. It endures forever. The decisions of Jehovah are true. They are completely fair.read more.
They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even the drippings from a honeycomb. They warn your servant. There is a great reward in following them.
The words of Jehovah are pure, like silver refined in a furnace on the earth and purified seven times.
