But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits,

Therefore whosoever heareth these my sayings, and doth them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock: And the rain descended,

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart unto the Lord.

Let none deceive himself: if any one among you thinketh himself to be wise, let him become a fool in this world, that he may become wise.

Behold your calling brethren: that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world, to shame the wise, and the weak things of the world, to shame the things that are mighty:

That the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in heavenly places,

which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay or resist.

And they were not able to withstand the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spake.
