I am crucified with Christ, and I live no longer, but Christ liveth in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

But these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye may have life thro' his name.

Jesus saith, I am the way; and the truth, and the life; no man cometh to the Father, but by me.

For as the Father raiseth and quickeneth the dead, so the Son also quickeneth whom he will.

Hereby was manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

For the bread of God is he that cometh down from heaven, and giveth life to the world.

If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever, and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews then debated among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Yet in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice, that your names are written in heaven. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

And I, brethren, could not speak to you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, as unto babes in Christ. I fed you with milk, not with meat; for ye were not yet able to bear it: nor are ye now able.

I have written to you, beloved children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name sake.

For to this end was the gospel preached to them that are dead also, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the Spirit.

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life.

I exhort you therefore, brethren, by the tender mercies of God, to present your bodies unto God, a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable, which is your reasonable service.

What then is my duty? I will pray with the Spirit; but I will pray with the understanding also; I will sing with the Spirit; but I will sing with the understanding also.

in the cloud and in the sea, And all ate the same spiritual meat, And all drank the same spiritual drink (for they drank out of the spiritual rock which followed them; and that rock was Christ) Yet, with the most of them, God was not well-pleased;

But he answering said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if the Spirit of God dwell in you. And if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Now if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead, will also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. read more.
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die; but if ye through the Spirit mortify the deeds of the flesh, ye shall live.

And he hath quickened you,

through his great love wherewith he loved us, Hath quickened us together with Christ, even when we were dead in trespasses, (by grace ye are saved) And hath raised us up together,

So reckon ye also yourselves to be dead to sin, and alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

For I through the law am dead to the law, that I may live to God.

and all evil-speakings, As new born babes desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, who is the head, even Christ:

And you who were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him,

And to the angel of the church at Sardis write, These things saith he that hath the seven spirits of God, and the seven stars, I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, but art dead.

These are spots in your feasts of love, while they banquet with you feeding themselves without fear: clouds without water, driven about of winds; trees without leaves, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, by the ignorance that is in them, through the hardness of their hearts:

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

We know, that we are passed from death to life, because we love the brethren: he that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death, that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life.

Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith to him, How can a man be born, when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. read more.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit, is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it lifteth, and thou hearest the found thereof, but canst not tell, whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Now to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace:

We know, that we are passed from death to life, because we love the brethren: he that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed abideth in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
