'Commit Adultery' in the Bible
“You shall not commit adultery.
‘You shall not commit adultery.
Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery and swear falsely, and offer sacrifices to Baal and walk after other gods that you have not known,
Thus I will judge you like women who commit adultery or shed blood are judged; and I will bring on you the blood of wrath and jealousy.
“Then I said concerning her who was worn out by adulteries, ‘Will they now commit adultery with her when she is thus?’
They offer sacrifices on the tops of the mountainsAnd burn incense on the hills,Under oak, poplar and terebinth,Because their shade is pleasant.Therefore your daughters play the harlotAnd your brides commit adultery.
I will not punish your daughters when they play the harlotOr your brides when they commit adultery,For the men themselves go apart with harlotsAnd offer sacrifices with temple prostitutes;So the people without understanding are ruined.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery’;
but I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the reason of unchastity, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Then he *said to Him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “You shall not commit murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not bear false witness;

You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not commit murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but do commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds.
