'For Us' in the Bible
And he said, Whose daughter are you? Please tell me. Is there room in your father's house for us to stay?
And he moved from there, and dug another well, and they did not strive for that. And he called the name of it Broad Places. And he said, For now Jehovah has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.
And Rachel and Leah answered and said to him, Is there yet any portion or inheritance for us in our father's house?
For all the riches which God has taken from our father, that is for us and for our sons. Now then, whatever God has said to you, do.
And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is grain in Egypt. Go down there and buy for us from there, so that we may live and not die.
And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew for us and watered the flock.
Did we not tell you this word in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, so that we may serve the Egyptians? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
And he said to the elders, You stay here for us until we come again to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. If any man has any matters to do, let him come to them.
And why has Jehovah brought us into this land to fall by the sword, so that our wives and our sons should be a prey? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?
Only do not rebel against Jehovah, neither fear the people of the land. For they are bread for us. Their protection has moved from them, and Jehovah is with us. Do not fear them.
From Aroer, by the brink of the river of Arnon, and the city by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us. Jehovah our God delivered all to us.
It is not in Heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to Heaven, and bring it to us, so that we may hear it and do it?
Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, Who shall go over the sea for us to the region beyond the sea, and bring it to us, so that we may hear it and do it?

And all the people said to Samuel, Pray for your servants to Jehovah your God, so that we will not die. For we have added evil to all our sins, to ask a king for us.
And Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, Come, and let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised ones. It may be that Jehovah will work for us. For there is no restraint to Jehovah, to save by many or by few.
And now, O king, come down according to all the desire of your soul. Come down, and it is for us to shut him up into the king's hand.
And the young men who had grown up with him spoke to him, saying, So shall you speak to this people who spoke to you, saying, Your father made our yoke heavy, but you make it lighter for us, so you shall say to them: My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.
And he said to him, Say now to her, Behold, you have been thoughtful for us with all this care. What is to be done for you? Would you be spoken for to the king or to the commander of the army? And she answered, I dwell among my own people.
And the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, Behold now, the place where we live with you is too small for us.
But as for us, Jehovah is our God, and we have not forsaken Him. And the priests who minister to Jehovah are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites in the work.
And because we have eaten the salt of the palace, and it was not right for us to see the king's dishonor, therefore we have sent and notified the king,
Then I called a fast there at the river Ahava, so that we might humble ourselves before our God, in order to seek from Him a right way for us and for our little ones, and for all our goods.
In whatever place you hear the sound of the trumpet, gather there to us. Our God will fight for us.
He shall choose our inheritance for us, the majesty of Jacob whom He loved. Selah.
Trust in Him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before Him; God is a hiding-place for us. Selah.
Blessed is Jehovah; He daily bears burdens for us, the God of our salvation. Selah.
Your God has commanded your strength; O God, be strong in that which You have worked out for us.
A Song of degrees; of David. Except that it was Jehovah who was for us, O may Israel say;
Except that it was Jehovah who was for us when men rose up against us,
And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here am I; send me!
Jehovah, You will ordain peace for us; for You also have worked all our works in us.
I will mention the loving-kindnesses of Jehovah, the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah has benefited for us, and the great good to the house of Israel by which He benefited them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude of His loving-kindnesses.
and let them make haste and take up a weeping for us, so that our eyes may run down with tears, and waters flow from our eyelids.
Have You utterly rejected Judah? Or has Your soul hated Zion? Why have You stricken us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for the time of healing, and behold, trouble!
Please inquire of Jehovah for us. For Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon is warring against us. Perhaps Jehovah will deal with us according to all His wonderful works, that he may go up from us.
nor to build houses for us to live in. Nor do we have vineyard, nor field, nor seed.

And Jesus said to him, Do not prevent him, for he who is not against us is for us.
Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar or not?
And He sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare the passover for us, so that we may eat.
nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation perish.
Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.
Then Pilate said to them, You take him and judge him according to your Law. Then the Jews said to him, It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death
And they teach customs which are not lawful for us to receive nor to do, being Romans.
Going before, these waited for us at Troas.
but for us also to whom it is to be imputed, to the ones believing on Him who has raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
But God commends His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Truly He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Who is he condemning? It is Christ who has died, but rather also who is raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
Therefore purge out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.
Or does He say it altogether for our sakes? It was written for us, so that he who plows should plow in hope, and so that he who threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope.
with you also helping together by prayer for us, so that the gracious gift by many persons be the cause of thanksgiving through many for us.
For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us a far more excellent eternal weight of glory,
For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Make room for us. We wronged no one, we corrupted no one, we overreached no one.
I do not speak this to condemn you, for I have said before that you are in our hearts for us to die together, and to live together.
for us to call on Titus, that even as he began before, so he would also complete this grace to you also.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone having been hanged on a tree");
for us to be to the praise of His glory, who previously had trusted in Christ;
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.
who died for us, so that whether we watch or sleep we should live together with Him.
Brothers, pray for us.
Finally, my brothers, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified, even as it also is with you.
who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify to Himself a special people, zealous of good works.
where the Forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
nor by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered once for all into the Holies, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
For Christ has not entered into the Holy of Holies made with hands, which are the figures of the true, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.
by a new and living way which He has consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;
for God had provided some better thing for us, that they should not be made perfect without us.
Pray for us; for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
Of His own will He brought us forth with the Word of truth, for us to be a certain firstfruit of His creatures.
Therefore, Christ having suffered for us in the flesh, also you arm yourselves with the same thought, that he suffering in the flesh has been made to rest from sin,
For the time of life which is past is enough for us to have worked out the will of the nations, having gone on in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, parties, carousings, and abominable idolatries.
By this we have known the love of God, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
