And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel and the animals of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the animals of the sons of Israel.
And why have ye caused the congregation of the LORD to come into this wilderness that we and our beasts should die here?
And they removed from Alush and encamped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.
And the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben came and spoke unto Moses and to Eleazar, the priest, and unto the princes of the congregation, saying,
And offer a tribute unto the LORD from the men of war who went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons and of the oxen and of the asses and of the sheep.
And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger that the manslayer not die until he stands before the congregation in judgment.
and her father hears her vow and her bond with which she has bound her soul, and her father shall remain silent regarding it, then all her promises shall stand, and every bond with which she has bound her soul shall stand.
But the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, thou shalt not ransom; they are sanctified; thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar and shalt burn their fat for an offering on fire, for an acceptable savour unto the LORD.
and they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the sons of Israel; and my lord was also commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad, our brother unto his daughters.
And Eleazar, the priest, said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;
These are those that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar, the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan of Jericho.
And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the testimony, before the testimony, where I will testify of myself unto you.
But if her husband has utterly made them void on the day he heard them, then whatever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand; her husband has made them void, and the LORD shall forgive her.
We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, and the possession of our inheritance on this side of the Jordan shall be ours.
And one he goat as the sin shall be offered unto the LORD, besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.
And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD has put in my mouth?
certainly the gold and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,
And if his father has no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his lineage, and he shall inherit it; and it shall be unto the sons of Israel a law of rights, as the LORD commanded Moses.

The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan of Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
Likewise he that burns her shall wash his clothes in water and bathe his flesh in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
These things ye shall offer unto the LORD in your solemnities, besides your vows, and your freewill offerings, in your burnt offerings, and in your presents, and in your drink offerings, and in your peace offerings.

The daughters of Zelophehad speak right; thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren, and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
and received of the firstborn of the sons of Israel, in money, a thousand three hundred and sixty-five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
And they went from Mithcah and pitched in Hashmonah.
And ye shall inherit the land by lots by your families, and to those with the most ye shall give more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give less inheritance, each one's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falls; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning and scatter thou the fire yonder, for
And the flesh shall be thine, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder shall be thine.
Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit in the midst of which I dwell; for I the LORD dwell among the sons of Israel.
for I will without a doubt honour thee greatly, and I will do whatever thou sayest unto me; come therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people.
And, behold, ye are risen up in the place of your fathers, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.
Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad, the son of Chislon.
And of the half pertaining to the sons of Israel, which Moses divided from the men that had gone to war,
And of the half belonging to the sons of Israel, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the oxen, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of animals and give them unto the Levites, who keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.
so that the inheritance of the sons of Israel shall not be passed from tribe to tribe; for each one of the sons of Israel shall cleave to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it, then her vow which she vowed and that which she pronounced with her lips, with which she bound her soul, shall be of no effect, and the LORD shall forgive her.
This is the burnt offering of the sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.
and one he goat as the sin, besides the continual burnt offering and its present and its drink offering.
His offering was one silver charger, the weight thereof was one hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a present;
And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
And the other lamb shalt thou offer between the two evenings; according to the offering of the morning and according to the drink offering thereof, thou shalt offer it, an offering on fire, of an acceptable savour unto the LORD.
and the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan; this shall be your north border.
And they departed from Hashmonah and encamped at Moseroth.
and the pillars of the court round about and their sockets and their stakes and their cords with all their instruments and with all their service; and ye shall number by name the vessels of the charge of their burden.
Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot; according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.
and ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land and dwell therein; for I have given you the land to inherit it.
And they removed from Almondiblathaim and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
And they departed from Rithmah and pitched at Rimmonparez.
And the LORD's anger was kindled the same time, and he swore, saying,
And of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince Paltiel, the son of Azzan.
And he returned unto him, and, behold, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he and all the princes of Moab.
of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
And Moses took the ransom money of those that were over and above the ones that were redeemed by the Levites
Now those that died in that plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those that died concerning the matter of Korah.
These are the names of the men who shall divide the possession of the land for you: Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, the son of Nun.
Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family because he has no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.
And Moses said unto them, If the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben will pass the Jordan with you, each one armed to battle, before the LORD, after the land shall be subdued before you, then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession.
Of the sons of Joseph: of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel, the son of Ephod.
And they brought the captives and the prey and the spoil unto Moses and Eleazar, the priest, and unto the congregation of the sons of Israel, unto the camp in the plains of Moab, which was by Jordan of Jericho.
of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.
And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border; this shall be your west border.
Then Moses commanded the sons of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph has spoken well.
And they departed from Hazeroth and pitched in Rithmah.
Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel and the animals of the Levites instead of their animals, and the Levites shall be mine; I am the LORD.
And among these there was not a man of those whom Moses and Aaron the priest had numbered when they numbered the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
every thing that may endure the fire, ye shall cause to pass through the fire, and it shall be clean; nevertheless, ye shall remove the sin with the water of separation; and all that does not endure the fire ye shall cause to go through the water.
For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, except Caleb, the son of Jephunneh and Joshua, the son of Nun.
And they removed from Marah and came unto Elim, and in Elim were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees, and they pitched there.
And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sarah.
These are the families of the sons of Gad according to those numbered, forty thousand five hundred.
Speak unto the sons of Israel and say unto them, When ye have passed the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
And they burnt all their cities in which they dwelt and all their palaces with fire.
And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea; this shall be your land with the borders thereof round about.
And of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel, the son of Shiphtan.
These were the numbered of the families of Kohath, all that minister in the tabernacle of the testimony, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
But if the manslayer shall at any time come outside the border of the city of his refuge where he has fled,
And he came unto him, and behold, he stood by his burnt offering and the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said unto him, What has the LORD spoken?
So these things shall be for a statute of rights unto you throughout your ages in all your dwellings.
And the of the tribe of the sons of Dan, the prince Bukki, the son of Jogli.
And they removed from Benejaakan and encamped at Horhagidgad.
And they departed from Kibrothhattaavah and encamped at Hazeroth.
So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty-eight cities, the cities with their suburbs.
According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to each one according to their number.
And they departed from Rephidim and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
And the sons of Pallu: Eliab.
Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion and shall destroy what remains of the city.
Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
His host, with those that were numbered of them, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
but we ourselves will go arm ourselves and go with diligence before the sons of Israel until we have brought them unto their place, and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.
And they departed from Dophkah and encamped in Alush.
Why do ye discourage the heart of the sons of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD has given them?
And of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel, the son of Ammihud.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
And they went from Kehelathah and pitched in Mount Shapher.
how our fathers went down into Egypt, and we were in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians mistreated us and our fathers;
and for a sacrifice of peace: two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Elizur, the son of Shedeur.
one he goat as the sin, besides the offering of the reconciliations for the sin, and the continual burnt offering and its presents and their drink offerings.
And their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine with each bullock and the third part of a hin with each ram and a fourth part of a hin with each lamb. This shall be the burnt offering of each month throughout all the months of the year.
For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the sons of Israel that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.
And of the tribe of the sons of Asher, the prince Ahihud, the son of Shelomi.
the country which the LORD smote before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock, and thy slaves have livestock.
These are the families of Judah according to those numbered, seventy-six thousand five hundred.
And they departed from Rimmonparez and pitched in Libnah.
The firstfruits of theirs of all the things of the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; everyone that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.
In the sanctuary shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it; it shall be holy unto thee.
For if ye turn away from after him, he will yet again leave you in the wilderness; and ye shall destroy all this people.
These are the numbered of the sons of Israel, six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.
and the kinsman avenger of blood finds him outside the borders of the city of his refuge, and the kinsman avenger of blood slays the manslayer, he shall not be guilty of his blood.
It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in Mount Sinai for an acceptable savour, an offering on fire unto the LORD.
And of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan, the son of Parnach.
And they departed from Tahath and pitched at Tarah.
And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.
And they removed from Makheloth and encamped at Tahath.
Therefore, they said, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy slaves for a possession and do not make us pass the Jordan.
and will all pass the Jordan armed before the LORD until he has driven out his enemies from before him
So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, the son of Nun, and the princes of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel.
And the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD has said unto thy slaves, so will we do.
and one he goat as the sin, besides the continual burnt offering, its present, and its drink offering.
of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites.
These are the families of the Reubenites; and those numbered were forty-three thousand seven hundred and thirty.
And Balaam replied unto Balak, Did I not declare also unto thy messengers which thou didst send unto me, saying,
those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the houses of their fathers, were two thousand six hundred and thirty.
And Moses gave the tribute, which was the LORD's heave offering, unto Eleazar, the priest, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And they went from Horhagidgad and pitched in Jotbathah.
Then Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the sons of Israel; and they looked, and each one took his rod.
Now therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night that I may know what the LORD will say unto me again.
And Moses and Eleazar, the priest, took the gold from the captains of thousands and of hundreds and brought it into the tabernacle of the testimony, for a memorial of the sons of Israel before the LORD.
And they shall have the cities to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their animals and for their substance and for all their beasts.
and their present shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals with each bullock, and two tenth deals with each ram,
And ye shall take no ransom for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.
And they removed from Libnah and pitched at Rissah.
And they took all the spoil and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.
And those that were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, all males from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the sons of Israel because no inheritance was to be given them among the sons of Israel.
Ye shall offer these besides the burnt offering in the morning, which is the continual burnt offering.
and a tenth deal of flour mingled with oil in offering as a present with each lamb; a burnt offering of an acceptable savour, a sacrifice on fire unto the LORD.
And the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the sons of Israel; from those that have much ye shall give many; but from those that have few ye shall give few, each one shall give of his cities unto the Levites according to his possession which he inherited.
And the officers who were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses,
And of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel, the son of Ammihud.
Our little ones, our wives, our livestock, and all our beasts, shall be there in the cities of Gilead;
and for a sacrifice of peace, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Pagiel, the son of Ocran.
And Moses gave the money of the ransoms unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And on the seventh day ye shall have a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.
This was the dedication of the altar, the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold,
Ye shall give three cities on this side of the Jordan and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge.
They were women of the family of the sons of Manasseh, the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
and three tenth deals of flour mingled with oil, as a present with each bullock; and two tenth deals of flour mingled with oil, as a present with each ram;
And Moses commanded the sons of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes and to the half tribe,
And if he has no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.
And unto Aaron was born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.
These are those whom the LORD commanded to cause the sons of Israel to inherit the land of Canaan.
And they removed from Tarah and pitched in Mithcah.
and divide the prey into two parts between those that took the part in the war, who went out to battle, and all the congregation.
And on the fourth day ten bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;
But ye shall offer in burnt offering, in an acceptable savour unto the LORD: two young bullocks, one ram, seven lambs of the first year;
Besides the burnt offering of the month and its present, and the daily burnt offering and its present and their drink offerings, according to their law, for an acceptable savour, a sacrifice on fire unto the LORD.
And on the fifth day nine bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without spot;
We will not return unto our houses until the sons of Israel have inherited each man his inheritance.
or out of enmity smites him with his hand so that he dies, he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer; the kinsman avenger of blood shall slay the murderer when he meets him.
And Moses and Eleazar, the priest, did as the LORD commanded Moses.
And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, when the plague was stayed.
from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to minister in the tabernacle of the testimony,
And they removed from Haradah and pitched in Makheloth.
And they removed from Mount Shapher and encamped in Haradah.
and they said unto Moses, Thy slaves have taken the sum of the men of war who are under our charge and not one man of us is missing.
then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the kinsman avenger of blood according to these laws.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
As the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad.
Moreover it shall come to pass that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
and their present shall be of flour mingled with oil; three tenth deals shall ye offer with each bullock and two tenth deals with each ram;
Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye offer the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the fruit of the threshingfloor and as the fruit of the winepress.
but thy slaves, each one armed for war, will pass before the LORD to battle, as our lord saith.
And the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben spoke unto Moses, saying, Thy slaves will do as my lord commands.
The twelve golden spoons full of incense, ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary; all the gold of the spoons was one hundred and twenty shekels.
And if he smites him by throwing a stone with which he may die, and he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death.
Or if he smites him with a hand weapon of wood with which he may die, and he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death.
But if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.
and their presents and their drink offerings with the bullocks, with the rams, and with the lambs shall be according to their number, according to the law;
and for a sacrifice of peace, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Elishama the son of Ammihud.
These were those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
and ye shall offer in burnt offering unto the LORD for an acceptable savour: one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year; they shall be unto you without blemish.
and their presents of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals with each of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth deals with each of the two rams,
But if he thrusts him out of hatred or hurls at him by laying in wait, so that he dies
And of these cities which ye shall give, six cities shall ye have for refuge.
and set him before Eleazar, the priest, and before all the congregation and give him a charge in their presence.
For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan or forward because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side of Jordan eastward.
And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace were twenty-four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after it was anointed.
and for a sacrifice of peace, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Eliasaph, the son of Deuel.
So that the inheritance shall not change from one tribe to another tribe, each one of the tribes of the sons of Israel shall cleave to his own inheritance.
Build cities for your little ones and folds for your sheep and do that which has proceeded out of your mouth.
Likewise remove all sin from all your clothing and all that is made of skins and all work of goats' hair and every vessel made of wood.
Ye shall also wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterwards ye shall come into the camp.
These are the families of Issachar according to those numbered, sixty-four thousand three hundred.

And on the second day ye shall offer twelve young bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot;
And Moses and Eleazar, the priest, took the gold from them, all wrought vessels.
each charger of silver weighing one hundred and thirty shekels, each bowl seventy; all the silver of the vessels, two thousand four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
and the pillars of the court round about and their sockets and their stakes and their cords.
and for a sacrifice of peace, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Ahira, the son of Enan.
To those that are many thou shalt give more inheritance, and to those that are few thou shalt give less inheritance; to each one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.
After this manner ye shall offer daily throughout the seven days, the bread of the sacrifice on fire, of an acceptable savour unto the LORD; it shall be offered besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.
All the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their present; and the he goats for sin twelve.
and for a sacrifice of peace, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai.
from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered in to serve in the service and to bear a burden in the tabernacle of the testimony,
And thou shalt give the money, of the ransoms of the odd number of them, unto Aaron and to his sons.
and for a sacrifice of peace, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Abidan, the son of Gideoni.
All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel numbered, after their families and after the houses of their fathers,
And ye shall take one prince of every tribe to divide the possession of the land.
And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families and by the houses of their fathers,
He should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest, but after the death of the high priest the manslayer shall return into the land of his possession.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
and one he goat as the sin, besides the continual burnt offering and its present and its drink offering.
And their presents shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals with each bullock, and two tenth deals with each ram,
and their presents and their drink offerings with the bullocks, with the rams, and with the lambs shall be according to their number, according to the law;
And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.
So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.
and one he goat as the sin, besides the continual burnt offering, and its present, and its drink offering.
As the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses, they were numbered, each one according to his ministry and according to his burden; thus were they numbered of Moses, as the LORD commanded him.
and for a sacrifice of peace, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur.
And Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the sons of Israel.
And on the third day eleven bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;
These are the sons of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites;
These were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all that minister in the tabernacle of the testimony, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD.
from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to minister in the tabernacle of the testimony,
