At every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother. And Abimelech took sheep and oxen, and men-servants and women-servants, and gave them unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife. Thou shalt not take up a false report: put not thy hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
If any one sin, and commit a trespass against Jehovah, and deal falsely with his neighbor in a matter of deposit, or of bargain, or of robbery, or have oppressed his neighbor,
Ye shall not steal; neither shall ye deal falsely, nor lie one to another.
God is not a man, that he should lie, Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and will he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and will he not make it good?
If an unrighteous witness rise up against any man to testify against him of wrong-doing, then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before Jehovah, before the priests and the judges that shall be in those days; read more. and the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and have testified falsely against his brother; then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to do unto his brother: so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood, And hath not sworn deceitfully.
I hate them that regard lying vanities; But I trust in Jehovah.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts; And in the hidden part thou wilt make me to know wisdom.
Once have I sworn by my holiness: I will not lie unto David:
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
That which maketh a man to be desired is his kindness; And a poor man is better than a liar.
A false witness shall perish; But the man that heareth shall speak so as to endure.
Be not a witness against thy neighbor without cause; And deceive not with thy lips.
A man that beareth false witness against his neighbor Is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.
Every word of God is tried: He is a shield unto them that take refuge in him. Add thou not unto his words, Lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
O Jehovah, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, unto thee shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Our fathers have inherited nought but lies, even vanity and things wherein there is no profit.

For I, Jehovah, change not; therefore ye, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and standeth not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.
Sanctify them in the truth: thy word is truth.
But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
and put on the new man, that after God hath been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
lie not one to another; seeing that ye have put off the old man with his doings,
if we are faithless, he abideth faithful; for he cannot deny himself.
in hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before times eternal;
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Who is the liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, even he that denieth the Father and the Son.
And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.
But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part'shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.
and there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or he that maketh an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb's book of life.
