Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.

but I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve by his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from singleheartedness toward Christ.

And Jesus answering said to them, See that no one deceive you.

For such are false apostles, deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder; for even Satan transformeth himself into an angel of light.
