And, when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept - and rent, every one his robe, and sprinkled dust upon their heads, toward the heavens.

Because his hand is stretched out against God, and his heart is lifted up against the Ruler of all,

He sets the lowly on high,
and mourners are lifted to safety.

‘Should my head be lifted up, You would hunt me like a lion;
And again You would show Your power against me.

Because I saw I had support in the gate,

if I have rejoiced at the destruction of him who hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him

When they cast down, you shall say, 'be lifted up.' He will save the humble person.

And withheld from the wicked is their light, And the arm lifted up is broken.

“But a hollow (empty-headed) man will become intelligent and wise
[Only] when the colt of a wild donkey is born as a man.
