And taking the hand of the blind man, he brought him out of the village, and spitting on his eyes, and putting his hands on him, he asked him, Do you see any thing?

He began to see and said, "I can make out people, for I see them as large as trees, moving."

Then again he put his hands on his eyes; and looking hard, he was able to see, and saw all things clearly.

And suddenly having looked around, they no longer saw any one, but Jesus alone with themselves.

As they came to rejoin the disciples, they saw an immense crowd surrounding them and a party of Scribes disputing with them.

“Go your way,” Jesus told him. “Your faith has healed you.” Immediately he could see and began to follow Him on the road.

And when the centurion, who stood across from him, saw that He cried out so, and expired, he said, Truly this man was Son of God.

And they fled out of the tomb, for they were all trembling and bewildered, and they said nothing about it to anyone, for they were afraid to do so.
