They also who saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the demons was healed.

And he was casting out a demon, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the demon was gone out, the dumb man spoke; and the people wondered.

And in the synagogue there was a man, who had a spirit of an unclean demon, and cried out with a loud voice,

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold your peace, and come out of him. And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and you say, He has a demon.

(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For often it had seized him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he broke the bonds, and was driven by the demon into the desert.)

But some of them said, He casts out demons through Beelzebub the chief of the demons.

Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the demons were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

Now the man out of whom the demons were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,

Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

And John answered and said, Teacher, we saw one casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he follows not with us.

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject unto us through your name.

If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because you say that I cast out demons through Beelzebub.

And if I by Beelzebub cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.

But if I with the finger of God cast out demons, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
