And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up to read.

And Jesus answering them said, Have you not read so much as this, what David did, when he was hungry, and they who were with him;

He said unto him, What is written in the law? how read you?

Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them: how much more are you better than the fowls?

For I feared you, because you are a severe man: you take up what you laid not down, and reap what you did not sow.
