And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph's kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.

"Joseph's brothers became jealous of him and sold Joseph as a slave in Egypt. However, God was with him

and [from Egypt] their bodies were taken back to Shechem and placed in the tomb which Abraham had purchased for a sum of money from the sons of Hamor in Shechem.

Now Joseph, a Levite, a native of Cyprus, who by the apostles was named Barnabas, which means Son of Encouragement,

and delivered him from all his troubles, and allowed him to win favor and to show wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and so he appointed Joseph governor of Egypt and of his whole household.

Then Joseph sent and invited his father Jacob and all his kinsmen, seventy-five in all;

until another king, who knew nothing about Joseph, ascended the throne.

So they nominated two men Joseph called Barsabbas, who also was called Justus, and Matthias.
