Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they who see not might see; and that they who see might be made blind.
And some of the Pharisees who were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
Jesus said unto them, If you were blind, you should have no sin: but now you say, We see; therefore your sin remains.
Others said, These are not the words of him that has a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?
And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
And are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light of them who are in darkness,
What then? Israel has not obtained that which it seeks for; but the election has obtained it, and the rest were blinded
But their minds were blinded: for until this day remains the same veil not taken away in the reading of the old covenant; which veil is done away in Christ.
In whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of them who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
