When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, "Most certainly I tell you, I haven't found so great a faith, not even in Israel.

But he told them, "Haven't you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

Or haven't you read in the Law that on every Sabbath the priests in the Temple violate the Sabbath and yet are innocent?

If he finds it, I tell all of you with certainty that he rejoices over it more than over the 99 that haven't strayed.

He answered them, "Haven't you read that the one who made them at the beginning "made them male and female'

Jesus told them, "Yes! Haven't you ever read, "From the mouths of infants and nursing babies you have created praise'?" Then he left them and went out of the city to Bethany and spent the night there.

As for the resurrection from the dead, haven't you read what was spoken to you by God when he said,

"Then the one who had received one talent came forward and said, "Master, I knew that you were a hard man, harvesting where you haven't planted and gathering where you haven't scattered any seed.

"His master answered him, "You evil and lazy servant! So you knew that I harvested where I haven't planted and gathered where I haven't scattered any seed?

He asked them, "Haven't you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need?

And they came over, and went into the land of Gennesaret, and drew up into the haven.

Haven't you ever read this Scripture: "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

As for the dead being raised, haven't you read in the book of Moses, in the story about the bush, how God said, "I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'?

Jesus answered them, "Haven't you read what David did when he and his companions became hungry?

So he told the gardener, "Look here! For three years I've been coming to look for fruit on this tree but I haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it waste the soil?'

If then you haven't been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will entrust you with the true riches?

And if you haven't been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you your own?

I sent you to reap that for which you haven't labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor."

The Father who sent Me has Himself testified about Me. You have not heard His voice at any time, and you haven’t seen His form.

At this point Jesus, still teaching in the Temple, shouted, "So you know me and know where I've come from? I haven't come on my own accord. But the one who sent me is true, and he's the one you don't know.

Then the temple police came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them, “Why haven’t you brought Him?”

Then the Pharisees answered, "You haven't been deceived too, have you?

Jesus told them, "If God were your Father, you would've loved me, because I came from God and am here. I haven't come on my own accord, but he sent me.

because I haven't spoken on my own authority. Instead, the Father who sent me has himself commanded me what to say and how to speak.

They'll do this because they haven't known the Father or me.

So far you haven't asked for anything in my name. Keep asking and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete."

“I have spoken openly to the world,” Jesus answered him. “I have always taught in the synagogue and in the temple complex, where all the Jews congregate, and I haven’t spoken anything in secret.

Jesus told her, "Don't hold on to me, because I haven't yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, "I'm ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"

So Jesus said to them, "Lads, you haven't any fish, have you?" They answered him, "No."

Three days later, Paul called the leaders of the Jews together. When they assembled, he told them, "Brothers, although I haven't done anything against our people or the customs of our ancestors, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans.

The Jewish leaders told him, "We haven't received any letters from Judea about you, and none of the brothers coming here has reported or mentioned anything bad about you.

The way of peace, they haven't known."

But, as it is written, "They will see, to whom no news of him came. They who haven't heard will understand."

I am free, am I not? I am an apostle, am I not? I have seen Jesus our Lord, haven't I? You are the result of my work in the Lord, aren't you?

As certainly as God is faithful, we haven't talked to you with mixed messages like that.

I hope you will realize that we haven't failed our test.

you have heard, haven’t you, about the administration of God’s grace that He gave to me for you?

For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

haven't you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?

If we say that we haven't sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who haven’t known the deep things of Satan—as they say—I do not put any other burden on you.
