Also Judah did not keep the commandments of Jehovah their God, but walked in the statutes which Israel made.

For the sons of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did. They did not depart from them

And it happened at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they did not fear Jehovah. And Jehovah sent lions among them, who killed them.

But they did not listen, but they followed after their former way.

And it happened, these nations feared Jehovah, and they served their graven images, both their sons and their sons' sons, as their fathers did, they do until this day.

And he did the right in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that David his father did.

For he clung to Jehovah. He did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which Jehovah commanded Moses.

And he did the right in the sight of Jehovah, and walked in all the way of David his father, and did not turn aside to the right or to the left.

But the priests of the high places did not come up to the altar of Jehovah in Jerusalem, but they ate of the unleavened bread among their brothers.

And also all the houses of the high places in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke Jehovah to anger, Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts which he had done in Bethel.

But Jehovah did not turn from the heat of His great wrath, with which His anger was kindled against Judah, because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him.

And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, Please inquire at the Word of Jehovah today.

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell you he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek. And he said, Which way did the Spirit of Jehovah go from me to speak to you?
