and came into the land of Israel, But having heard, Archelaus reigneth over Judea, in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither, and being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee.

And be not afraid of them who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather be afraid of him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

But Jesus immediately spake to them, saying, Take courage: it is I: be not afraid.

But seeing the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, Lord, save me.

And the disciples hearing it, fell on their face and were sore afraid.

And they come to Jesus and see the demoniac, sitting and clothed and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

For he knew not what to say; for they were sore afraid.

But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.

Then they went out to see what was done, and came to Jesus, and found the man out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

And having rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh to the ship: and they were afraid.

But he saith to them, It is I; be not afraid.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

he was the more afraid, And returned into the palace and saith to Jesus, Whence art thou?
