But speak the things which become the healthful teaching; that aged men be temperate, grave, sober-minded, sound in faith, in love, in patience; that aged women, in like manner, be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; read more.
that they may train the young women to be lovers of their husbands, lovers of their children, to be sober, pure, workers at home, good, submitting themselves to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. The younger men, in like manner, exhort to be sober-minded; in all things showing yourself an example of good works; in teaching, showing incorruptness, gravity, sound speech not to be condemned; that he who is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say concerning us. Exhort servants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well-pleasing in all things; not contradicting, not keeping back anything, but showing forth all good faith; that they may adorn the teaching of our Savior God in all things. For the salvation-imparting grace of God appeared to all men, teaching us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and righteously, and godly in the present age; looking for the blissful hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for Himself a special people, zealous of good works. These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one despise you.

And, finally, be ye all of one mind, compassionate, loving as brethren, tender-hearted, humble-minded; not returning evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but, on the contrary, blessing; because to this end ye were called, that ye might inherit a blessing. For, "He who wishes to love life, and to see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking guile; read more.
and let him turn away from evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and pursue it; because the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are toward their supplication; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
