For, the family of the impious, is unfruitful, and, a fire, hath devoured the tents of bribery;
Serpents! broods of vipers! how should ye flee from the judgment of gehenna?
Alas for you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because ye cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, - while, within, they are full of plunder and intemperance.
Why, moreover, beholdest thou the mote, in the eye of thy brother, - while, the beam in thine own eye, thou dost not consider?
