for He must reign, till He hath put all the enemies under His feet. As the last enemy, death is abolished; for He put all things in subjection under His feet. But, when He saith, "All things have been put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted, Who subjected all things to Him. read more.
And, when all things shall be subjected to Him, then will the Son also Himself be subjected to Him Who subjected all things to Him, that God may be all in all.

But we behold Him Who was made a little lower than angels, Jesus, on account of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, that, by the grace of God, He might taste death for every one. For it was becoming Him, on Whose account are all things, and through Whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to perfect, through suffering, the Captain of their salvation. Jesus spake these things; and, lifting up His eyes to Heaven, said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify Thy Son, that the Son may glorify Thee; even as Thou gavest Him authority over all flesh, that to all Whom Thou hast given Him He should give eternal life. And this is the eternal life, that they know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ Whom Thou didst send. read more.
I glorified Thee on the earth; having completed the work which Thou hast given Me to do. And, now, Father, glorify Thou Me with Thine Own Self, with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was. I manifested Thy name to the men whom Thou gavest Me out of the world. Thine they were; and Thou gavest them to Me; and they have kept Thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever Thou gavest Me are from Thee; because the words which Thou gavest Me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew truly that I came forth from Thee, and believed that Thou didst send Me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom Thou hast given Me; because they are Thine. And all Mine are Thine, and Thine are Mine; and I am glorified in them. And I am no longer in the world; and these are in the world, and I come to Thee. Holy Father, keep, in Thine Own name, those whom Thou hast given Me, that they may be one, even as we are. While I was with them, I was keeping, in Thy name, those Whom Thou hast given Me; and I guarded them, and no one of them perished, except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I come to Thee, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy made full in themselves. I have given them Thy word, and the world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth. As Thou didst send Me into the world, I also sent them into the world; and in their behalf I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth. And I do not pray for these only, but for those also who believe on Me through their word; that they may all be one, even as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in us; that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me. And the glory which Thou hast given to Me I have given to them, that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and lovedst them, even as Thou didst love Me. Father, as to what Thou hast given Me, I desire that they also maybe with Me, where I am; that they may behold My glory, which Thou hast given Me; because Thou didst love Me before the founding of a world. O righteous Father! and the world knew Thee not; but I knew Thee, and these knew that Thou didst send Me; and I made known to them Thy name, and will make it known; that the love with which Thou lovedst Me may be in them, and I in them."

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For ye did not receive a spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received a spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself testifieth with our spirit, that we are children of God; read more.

Become not unequally yoked with unbelievers; for what fellowship have righteousness and lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what concord of Christ is there with Belial? or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? While He was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and His brothers were standing without, seeking to speak to Him. But now, in Christ Jesus, ye who were once afar off were made nigh in the blood of Christ. But all things are of God, Who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation; how that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having put in us the word of reconciliation. On behalf of Christ, therefore, we are ambassadors, as though God were beseeching through us, we entreat you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God read more.
Him Who knew no sin He made to be sin on our behalf, that we may become God's righteousness in Him.

For, while we were yet weak, Christ, in due season, died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; for, peradventure, in behalf of a good man, some one even dares to die. But God commendeth His own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. read more.
Much more, therefore, being now justified by His blood, shall we be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son; much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved by His life; and not only so, but we are rejoicing in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we now received the reconciliation.

For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very likeness of the things, can never, with the same sacrifices, which they offer year by year continually, perfect those who come to them; else would they not have ceased to be offered? because the worshipers, having been cleansed once for all, would have had no more conscience of sins. But in these sacrifices there is a remembrance of sins year by year; read more.
for it is impossible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore, coming into the world, He saith, "Sacrifice and offering Thou didst not wish, but a body didst Thou prepare for Me; in whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices for sin Thou hadst no pleasure. Then said I, 'Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it has been written concerning Me), to do Thy will, O God.'" Saving above, "Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt-offerings and offerings for sin," Thou didst not wish; neither hadst pleasure therein, which, indeed, are offered according to the law; then hath He said, "Lo, I have come to do Thy will." And every priest, indeed, stands daily ministering, and ofttimes offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; but This Man, having offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; from henceforth awaiting until His foes shall be placed as a footstool for His feet. For by one offering He hath perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
