Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he shall be greatest in the kingdom of heaven: and whoever shall receive one such little child for my sake, receiveth me:

but Jesus said, Suffer the children to come to me, and do not hinder them: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And when He had laid his hands on them, he departed thence.

And they brought to Him little children that He might touch them: and the disciples rebuked those that brought them. Which Jesus observing, was much displeased, and said to them, Let the children come to me; and hinder them not; for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I tell you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, shall by no means enter into it. read more.
And He took them in his arms, and put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

And they brought to Him infants also, that He might touch them: and his disciples seeing it rebuked them. But Jesus called them to Him and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.


I write unto you, little children, because for his sake your sins are forgiven you: I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning: and I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. Yea I have written to you, little children, because ye have known the Father:







And upon this occasion Jesus opened his mouth and said, "I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and knowing, and hast revealed them to babes: even so, Father, for it was thy good pleasure that so it should be."
