But having answered, Jesus said to them, Ye are led astray, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as agents of God in heaven. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, read more.
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not God of the dead, but of the living.

And having answered, Jesus said to them, Are ye not led astray because of this: not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God? For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as agents in the heavens. But about the dead, that they rise, have ye not read in the book of Moses, how God spoke to him at the bush, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? read more.
He is not the God of the dead, but God of the living. Ye therefore are much misled.

And having answered, Jesus said to them, The sons of this age marry, and are given in marriage, but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. For neither can they die any more, for they are like the heavenly agents, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. read more.
But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the Bush when he calls Lord, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for all live to him.

On that day Sadducees came to him, those who claim to be no resurrection. And they questioned him, saying, Teacher, Moses said, If some man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed to his brother. Now there were with us seven brothers. And the first having married perished. And having no seed left his wife to his brother. read more.
Likewise also the second, and the third, until the seventh. And last of all, the woman also died. In the resurrection therefore, which of the seven will she be wife? For they all had her. If therefore ye were raised with the Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Think on the things above, not the things on the earth. For ye died, and your life has been hidden with the Christ in God.

And when he said this, there developed a conflict of the Pharisees and Sadducees, and the group was divided. For in fact Sadducees say to be no resurrection nor heavenly agent nor spirit, but Pharisees acknowledge them all.
