And again I say to you, it is easier [for] a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich person into the kingdom of God." So [when] the disciples heard [this], they were extremely amazed, saying, "Then who can be saved?" read more.
But Jesus looked at [them] [and] said to them, "With human beings this is impossible, but with God all [things] [are] possible."

And Jesus looked around [and] said to his disciples, "How {difficult it is for} those who possess wealth to enter into the kingdom of God!" And the disciples were astounded at his words. Though he congratulated his soul while he was living --and [people] will praise you when you do well for yourself-- it will go to the generation of his fathers. Never will they see light. Humankind in [its] pomp, but does not understand, is like the beasts [that] perish.
