But when thou makest an entertainment, invite the poor, the disabled, the lame, the blind, And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee; but thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

Where is then the blessedness ye spake of?

And the king shall answer and say to them, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as ye did it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye did it to me.

Look not every one at his own things, but every one also at the things of others.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

A new commandment I give you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

In brotherly love be full of tender affection toward each other, in honour preferring one another:

Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good unto all men; but especially to them who are of the houshold of faith.

But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own family, he hath denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.

And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted; forgiving one another; as God also for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering:

the same which I also was forward to do.

What doth it profit, my brethren, tho' a man say he hath faith, and have not works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or a sister be naked, and want daily food, And one of you say to them, Depart in peace; be ye warmed and filled, but give them not the things needful for the body, what doth it profit?read more.
So likewise faith, if it hath not works, is dead in itself.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith so as to remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. And all nations shall be gathered before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick or in prison, and came to thee? And the king shall answer and say to them, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as ye did it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye did it to me. Then shall he say also to them on his left-hand, Depart from me, ye cursed into the everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry, and ye gave me no meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not micister to thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say to you, inasmuch as ye did it oot to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into life everlasting.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, in this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
