But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful, and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

And if he sin against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day return to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him.
Simon answering said, I suppose, he to whom he forgave most. He said to him, Thou hast rightly judged.
To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: and if I forgive any thing, to whom I forgive it, it is for your sakes, in the person of Christ.
by which he hath freely accepted us through the beloved, By whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins,
Be it known unto you therefore, that through this man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thy heart may be forgiven thee.
And whosoever speaketh against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in that to come.
And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many, for the remission of sins.
Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
