And the LORD God said unto the serpent, "Because thou hast so done, most cursed be thou of all cattle and of all beasts of the field. Upon thy belly shalt thou go, and earth shalt thou eat all days of thy life. Moreover, I will put hatred between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed. And that seed shall tread thee on the head, and thou shalt tread it on the heel."
Then said the LORD unto Satan, "Lo, there hast thou him in thy power, but spare his life."
And the LORD said unto Satan, 'The LORD reprove thee, thou Satan; yea, the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem, reprove thee. Is not this a brand taken out of the fire?'
And the great dragon, that old serpent called the devil and Satan; Was cast out. Which deceiveth all the world. And he was cast into the earth, and his angels were cast out also.
But the spirit of the LORD departed from Saul; and an evil spirit, sent of the LORD, vexed him.
God sent a hate between Abimelech and the citizens of Shechem. And the citizens of Shechem railed upon Abimelech,
And it happened on the morrow, that the evil spirit sent of God came upon Saul, so that he prophesied in the midst of the house. And David played on the instrument with his hand as he was daily wont.
And the evil spirit of the LORD was upon Saul as he sat in his house having a javelin in his hand, and David played with his hand.
Now therefore behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy Prophets: when in very deed the LORD hath spoken evil toward thee."
And ye which were dead in sin through the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened with him and hath forgiven us all our trespasses and hath put out the handwriting that was against us, contained in the law written, and that hath he taken out of the way, and hath fastened it to his cross, and hath spoiled rule and power, and hath made a show of them openly, and hath triumphed over them in his own person.
He that committeth sin is of the devil: for the devil sinneth since the beginning. But for this cause appeared the son of God, even to destroy the works of the devil.
But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them, "Every kingdom divided within itself shall be brought to nought. Neither shall any city or household divided against itself, continue. So if Satan cast out Satan, then is he at variance within himself. How shall then his kingdom endure? Also, if I, by the help of Beelzebub, cast out devils: by whose help do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.read more.
But if I cast out the devils by the spirit of God, then is the kingdom of God come on you? Either how can a man enter into a strong man's house, and violently take away his goods, except he first bind the strong man, and then spoil his house?
And he called them unto him, and in similitudes said unto them, "How can Satan drive out Satan? For if a realm be divided against itself, that realm cannot endure. Or if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot continue:read more.
So if Satan make insurrection against himself, and be divided, he cannot continue, but is it an end. No man can enter into a strong man's house, and take away his goods, except he first bind that strong man and then spoil his house.
But he knew their thoughts, and said unto them, "Every kingdom divided within itself shall be desolate: and one house shall fall upon another. So if Satan be divided within himself: how shall his kingdom endure? Be cause ye say that I cast out devils by the power of Beelzebub? If I by the power of Beelzebub cast out devils: by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore shall they be your judges.read more.
But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt, the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a strong man, armed, watcheth his house; That he possesseth, is in peace. But when a stronger than he cometh upon him, and overcometh him: he taketh from him, his harness, wherein he trusted, and divideth his goods.
And they were all amazed, insomuch that they demanded one of another among themselves, saying, "What thing is this? What new doctrine is this? For he commandeth the foul spirits with power, and they obey him."
And fear came on them all; And they spake among themselves, saying, "What manner a thing is this? For with authority and power he commandeth the foul spirits and they come out."
And as soon as the devil had ended all his temptations, he departed from him for a season.
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out a doors.
Hereafter will I not talk many words unto you. For the chief ruler of this world cometh, and hath nought in me.
Forasmuch, then, as the children were partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part with them, for to put down through death him that had lordship over death: that is to say, the devil. And that he might deliver them which, through fear of death, all their life time were in danger of bondage.
Little children, ye are of God, and have overcome them: for greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my seat, even as I overcame and have sitten with my father, in his seat.
But we all behold the glory of the Lord with his face open, and we are changed unto the same similitude, from glory to glory, even of the spirit of the Lord.
Dearly beloved, now are we the sons of God, and yet it doth not appear what we shall be. But we know that when it shall appear, we shall be like him. For we shall see him as he is.
And when God saw their works, how they turned from their wicked ways, he repented on the evil which he said he would do unto them, and did it not.

delivering thee from the people, and from the gentiles, unto thee which now I send thee, to open their eyes that they might turn from darkness unto light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith in me.'
And fashion not yourselves like unto this world: But be changed through the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what thing that good, that acceptable, and perfect will of God is.
But by the grace of God I am that I am. And his grace which is in me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which is with me.
and he said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee. For my strength is made perfect through weakness." Very gladly therefore will I rejoice of my weakness, that the strength of Christ may dwell in me.
and the new put on; which is renewed in knowledge, after the image of him that made him:
Ye thought evil unto me: but God turned it unto good to bring to pass, as it is this day, even to save much people alive.
For we know well that all things work for the best unto them that love God, which also are called of purpose.
So now it was not ye that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me father unto Pharaoh and lord over all his house, and ruler in all the land of Egypt.
Jesus answered, "Neither this man hath sinned, nor yet his father and mother: but that the works of God should be showed on him.
Verily, verily I say unto you, except the wheat corn fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone. If it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
So therefore let all the house of Israel know for a surety, that God hath made the same Jesus whom ye have crucified, Lord and Christ."
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his son Jesus, whom ye delivered and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had judged him to be loosed: but ye denied the holy and just, and desired a murderer to be given you, and killed the Lord of life whom God hath raised from death, of the which we are witnesses:read more.
And his name, through the faith of his name, hath made this man sound whom ye see and know. And the faith which is by him, hath to him given this health, in the presence of you all.

in the which time ye shall rejoice, though now for a season - if need require - ye are in heaviness, through manifold temptations, that your faith, once tried, being much more precious than gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto laud, glory, and honour, at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
because the creatures are subdued to vanity against their will: but for his will which subdueth them in hope. For the very creatures shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.
Jesus said unto them, "Verily I say to you, When the son of man shall sit in the seat of his majesty, ye which follow me in the second generation shall sit also upon twelve seats, and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.
that is, to wit, Jesus Christ: which must receive heaven until the time that all things which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began, be restored again.
And I saw a new heaven, and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth were vanished away, and there was no more sea.
And there shall be no more curse, but the seat of God and the lamb shall be in it: and his servants shall serve him.
And I saw seats, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God: which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had taken his mark upon their foreheads, or on their hands: and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
And he took the dragon, that old serpent which is the devil and Satan, and he bound him a thousand years:
The God of peace tread Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
and the devil that deceived them, was cast into a lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were and shall be tormented day and night for ever more.
For mark, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven: and all the proud, yea and all such as do wickedness, shall be straw: and the day that is for to come, shall burn them up, sayeth the LORD of Hosts, so that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
The son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that do offend, and all them which do iniquity, and shall cast them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Then shall the King say unto them that shall be on the left hand, 'Depart from me ye cursed, into everlasting fire, which is prepared for the devil and his angels.
and then shall that wicked be uttered, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the appearance of his coming,
And the beast was taken, and with him that false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that received the beast's mark, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast into a pond of fire burning with brimstone:
But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
Nevertheless, we look for a new heaven, and a new earth, according to his promise, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
For lo, I shall make a new heaven, and a new earth. And as for the old, they shall never be thought upon, nor kept in mind:
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, neither crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the old things are gone.
For without shall be dogs and enchanters, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth or maketh lies.
