For God's nonsense is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength. Brothers, think about your own calling. The LORD is my light and my salvation whom will I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom will I be afraid?
If an army encamps against me, my heart will not fear. If a war is launched against me, I will even trust in that situation.
I give them eternal life, they'll never be lost, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. What my Father has given me is more important than anything, and no one can snatch it from the Father's hand.
