Those who are perverse in heart are an abomination to the LORD, but those whose ways are blameless are his delight.
A perverse heart will be far from me. I will have nothing to do with evil. I will silence whoever secretly slanders his neighbor. I won't tolerate one who is haughty and conceited.
Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: they shall certainly not be unpunished.
One who has a perverse heart doesn't find prosperity, and one who has a deceitful tongue falls into trouble.
