I knew him not: but therefore am I come baptizing with water, that he might be manifest to Israel.

he shall glorify me: for he will commuincate to you, the information, which I shall give him.
for I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Let your minds then be duely prepar'd, be vigilant, and constantly expect the favour you will meet with at the appearance of Jesus Christ.
that your faith being put to a more advantageous proof, than that of gold, which loses by the essay, may redound to your praise and highest honour at the appearance of Jesus Christ:
so that you will be deficient in no gift; during your expectation of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Christ is your life, and when he shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.
