For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set Thee for a light of the Gentiles, that Thou mightest be for salvation to the ends of the earth.
And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.
Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear.
I say then, Have they stumbled so as to fall? God forbid. But by their fall salvation is come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.
That the Gentiles are fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and joint-partakers of his promise by Christ through the gospel,

But to them that are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me the preaching might be fully known, even that all nations might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
Then saith the woman of Samaria to him, How dost thou, being a Jew, ask drink of me, who am a woman of Samaria? For the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus saith to her, Give me to drink.
Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly desires,
And he said to them, To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but to them that are without, all things are in parables:
For what have I to do, to judge them also that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within? (But them that are without God will judge:) And ye will take away from among yourselves that wicked person.
And that ye study to be quiet and to do your own business, and to work with your hands, as we commanded you; That ye may walk decently toward them that are without, and may want nothing.
He ought also to have a good report from them that are without, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
