For if ye love them that love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the heathens so?
For if ye love them that love you, what thank have ye? For sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them that do good to you, what thank have ye? For even sinners do the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? For even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
And the believers of the circumcision, as many as came with Peter, were amazed, that the gift of the Holy Ghost was poured out on the Gentiles also.
And ye look upon him that weareth the fine apparel, and say to him, Sit thou here in a good place, and say to the poor man, Stand thou there, or, Sit thou here under my footstool, Ye distinguish not in yourselves, but are become evil-reasoning judges.

Him that is weak in the faith, receive; but not to doubtful disputations.

But if ye have respect of persons, ye commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.
Then Peter opening his mouth, said, I perceive of a truth that God is not a respecter of persons:
And ye masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatning, knowing that your master is in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with him.
But he that doth wrong, shall receive for the wrong he hath done; and there is no respect of persons.
And he said to him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded tho' one rose from the dead.
Wo to thee, Chorazin, wo to thee, Bethsaida: for if the mighty works which have been done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. Moreover I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. For the Saducees say, there is no resurrection, neither angel nor spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.
