For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

The elders that are among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and likewise a partaker of the glory which shall be revealed,

The eyes of your understanding being inlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

But we see Jesus crowned with glory and honour, for the suffering of death, who was made a little lower than the angels, that by the grace of God he might taste death for every man.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eye-witnesses of his majesty. For he received honour and glory from God the Father, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I delight. And we being with him in the holy mountain, heard this voice coming from heaven:

Jesus saith, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified by him. If God be glorified by him, God will also glorify him with himself, and will shortly glorify him.

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes and said, Father, the hour is come: glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him. And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected in one; and that the world may know, that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that these also whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

The God of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his son Jesus, whom ye delivered up, and renounced him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to release him.

Now the God of all grace, who hath called us by Christ Jesus to his eternal glory, after ye have suffered a while, himself shall perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

When Christ, our life shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Know ye not, that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have from God? And ye are not your own: For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God with your body and your spirit, which are God's.

Therefore whether ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified thro' the Son.

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God: if any man minister, let him minister as of the ability which God giveth, that God in all things may be glorified thro' Jesus Christ, whose is the glory and the might for ever and ever. Amen.

Jesus saith, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified by him. If God be glorified by him, God will also glorify him with himself, and will shortly glorify him.

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily I say unto you, Unless a grain of wheat that falleth into the ground die, it remaineth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. Jesus saith to her, Said I not to thee, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

Happy are ye when men shall revile and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is situated on a mountain cannot be hid. Neither do they light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick, and it giveth light to all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together and utterly unable to lift up herself.
