And seek ye not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; neither be ye in careful suspense: for all these things the nations of the world seek after; but your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. Seek ye therefore the kingdom of God, and all these shall be super-added unto you.

But when Jesus heard these things He said unto him, Thou yet wantest one thing, Sell all that thou hast, and distribute to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. But when he heard this, he was very sorrowful; for he was very rich.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these shall be superadded unto you.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may experience what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Be anxious in nothing: but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known before God. And the peace of God, which surpasseth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally my brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are venerable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are friendly, whatever things are reputable, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think of these things:
