For after all these things do the gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will also be given you. Be not then anxious about the morrow; for the morrow will be anxious about itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof.

Luke 12:22-31

But Abraham saith, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. But he said, Nay, father Abraham; but if one should go to them from the dead, they would repent. But he said to him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded, though one should rise from the dead.
