All scripture is inspired of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness;
Knowing this before that no scripture prophecy is of any private interpretation. For prophecy never came by the will of man, but the holy men of God spake being moved by the Holy Ghost.
For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord saith to my Lord, Sit thou on my righthand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and with their ears they hear heavily, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith) To day, if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness, Where your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.read more.
Therefore I was grieved with that generation and said, They always err in their hearts, and they have not know my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.
And this the Holy Ghost also witnesseth to us, for after he had said before, This is the covenant which I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws into their hearts, and write them in their minds, And their sins, and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Searching what, and what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them signified, when he testified before hand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that should follow.
By reading which ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ: Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it hath now been revealed to the holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit,

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we may know the things which are freely given to us of God. Which also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Holy Spirit, explaining spiritual things by spiritual words. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit; for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.read more.
But the spiritual man discerneth all things, while he himself is discerned by no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

But ye have an anointing from the Holy one, and know all things. I have not written to you, because ye know not the truth; but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is that liar, but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist who denieth the Father and the Son.read more.

Therefore let that abide in you which ye heard from the beginning: if that which ye heard from the beginning abide in you, ye also shall abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise which he hath promised us, eternal life. These things have I written to you, concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any should teach you, save as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie; and as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in them.
For he whom God hath sent, speaketh the words of God; for God giveth not him the Spirit by measure.
It is the Spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I have spoken, they are spirit and they are life.
But he is a Jew, who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
But now we are freed from the law, that whereby we were held being dead, so that we serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life.
This only would I learn of you, Did you receive the Spirit, by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so thoughtless? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Have ye suffered so many things in vain?read more.
If it be yet in vain? Doth he that ministreth the Spirit to you, and worketh miracles among you, do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Christ is become of no effect to you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
