For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.

because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.

Her rich men are full of violence, her inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their speech.

God saw the earth, and saw that it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

He will remember their iniquity. He will punish them for their sins.

For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed,

promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.

that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.

by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.

Now I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery. But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed, suffering the penalty as the wages of evil; people who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime, spots and blemishes, reveling in their deceit while they feast with you; having eyes full of adultery, and who cannot cease from sin; enticing unsettled souls; having a heart trained in greed; children of cursing; forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing; but he was rebuked for his own disobedience. A mute donkey spoke with a man's voice and stopped the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, and mists driven by a storm; for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved. For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who barely escape from those who live in error; promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.
