The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek,
For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.
A worthless person, a wicked man, goes about with crooked speech, winks with his eyes, signals with his feet, points with his finger, with perverted heart devises evil, continually sowing discord;read more.
therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly; in a moment he will be broken beyond healing.
The wicked are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous will stand.
"For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the LORD of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
