'According' in the Bible

The Lord judges the peoples;Judge me, O Lord, and grant me justice according to my righteousness and according to the integrity within me.

The Lord dealt with me according to my righteousness (moral character, spiritual integrity);According to the cleanness of my hands He has rewarded me.

Therefore the Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness (moral character, spiritual integrity),According to the cleanness of my hands in His sight.

May He grant you your heart’s desireAnd fulfill all your plans.

Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions;According to Your lovingkindness remember me,For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.

Repay them according to their work and according to the evil of their practices;Repay them according to the deeds of their hands;Repay them what they deserve.

Judge me, O Lord my God, according to Your righteousness and justice;And do not let them rejoice over me.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness;According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions.

Also to You, O Lord, belong lovingkindness and compassion,For You compensate every man according to [the value of] his work.

Answer me, O Lord, for Your lovingkindness is sweet and good and comforting;According to the greatness of Your compassion, turn to me.

They did not keep the covenant of GodAnd refused to walk according to His law;

And in their hearts they put God to the testBy asking for food according to their [selfish] appetite.

Let the groaning and sighing of the prisoner come before You;According to the greatness of Your power keep safe those who are doomed to die.

He has not dealt with us according to our sins [as we deserve],Nor rewarded us [with punishment] according to our wickedness.

And He remembered His covenant for their sake,And relented [rescinding their sentence] according to the greatness of His lovingkindness [when they cried out to Him],

Help me, O Lord my God;Save me according to Your lovingkindness—

Beth.How can a young man keep his way pure?By keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to Your precepts].

Daleth.My earthly life clings to the dust;Revive and refresh me according to Your word.

My soul dissolves because of grief;Renew and strengthen me according to [the promises of] Your word.

Vav.May Your lovingkindness also come to me, O Lord,Your salvation according to Your promise;

I sought Your favor with all my heart;Be merciful and gracious to me according to Your promise.

Teth.You have dealt well with Your servant,O Lord, according to Your promise.

O may Your lovingkindness and graciousness comfort me,According to Your word (promise) to Your servant.

According to Your steadfast love refresh me and give me life,So that I may keep and obey the testimony of Your mouth.

They continue this day according to Your ordinances,For all things [all parts of the universe] are Your servants.

I am greatly afflicted;Renew and revive me [giving me life], O Lord, according to Your word.

Uphold me according to Your word [of promise], so that I may live;And do not let me be ashamed of my hope [in Your great goodness].

Deal with Your servant according to Your [gracious] lovingkindness,And teach me Your statutes.

Hear my voice according to Your [steadfast] lovingkindness;O Lord, renew and refresh me according to Your ordinances.

Plead my cause and redeem me;Revive me and give me life according to [the promise of] Your word.

Great are Your tender mercies and steadfast love, O Lord;Revive me and give me life according to Your ordinances.

Consider how I love Your precepts;Revive me and give me life, O Lord, according to Your lovingkindness.

Tav.Let my [mournful] cry come before You, O Lord;Give me understanding [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] according to Your word [of promise].

Let my supplication come before You;Deliver me according to Your word.

Blessed [happy and sheltered by God’s favor] is everyone who fears the Lord [and worships Him with obedience],Who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments.

If You, Lord, should keep an account of our sins and treat us accordingly,O Lord, who could stand [before you in judgment and claim innocence]?

Praise Him for His mighty acts;Praise Him according to [the abundance of] His greatness.
