'Bones' in the Bible
So Joseph made the sons of Israel take an oath: “When God comes to your aid, you are to carry my bones up from here.”
It is to be eaten in one house. You may not take any of the meat outside the house, and you may not break any of its bones.
Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, because Joseph had made the Israelites swear a solemn oath, saying, “God will certainly come to your aid; then you must take my bones with you from this place.”
they may not leave any of it until morning or break any of its bones. They must observe the Passover according to all its statutes.

The Lord says:I will not relent from punishing Moabfor three crimes, even four,because he burned the bonesof the king of Edom to lime.
You hate good and love evil.You tear off people’s skinand strip their flesh from their bones.
You eat the flesh of my peopleafter you strip their skin from themand break their bones.You chop them uplike flesh for the cooking pot,like meat in a cauldron.”
I heard, and I trembled within;my lips quivered at the sound.Rottenness entered my bones;I trembled where I stood.Now I must quietly wait for the day of distressto come against the people invading us.
