'Bound' in the Bible
And they came to the place which God had told him of. And Abraham built the altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar, upon the wood.
And it came to pass, when she travailed, that one put out a hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.
And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, the place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.
And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.

But the vow of a widow, or of her that is divorced, even everything wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand against her.
And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath,
and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.
