'Selling' in the Bible
Jacob said, “Swear [an oath] to me today [that you are selling it to me for this food]”; so he swore [an oath] to him, and sold him his birthright.
Meanwhile, Joseph continued to be ruler over the land, in charge of selling to everyone in the land. Joseph's brothers appeared and bowed down to him, face down.

In the temple complex He found people selling oxen, sheep, and doves, and He also found the money changers sitting there.
He told those who were selling doves, “Get these things out of here! Stop turning My Father’s house into a marketplace!”
and the possessions and the goods they were selling, and were parting them to all, according as any one had need.
