'Side' in the Bible

Make a roof for the ark, and finish the walls to within one cubit from the top. Place the entrance in the side of the ark, and build a lower, a middle, and an upper deck.

"The width of the court on the west side is to have hangings 50 cubits long with ten pillars and ten sockets.

The width of the court on the east side is to be 50 cubits.

"You are to make two gold rings and attach them to the two edges of the breast piece, on the side of it that is toward the inner side of the ephod.

Then Moses turned and went down the mountain with the two Tablets of the Testimony in his hand, tablets which were written on both sides. They were written on one side and the other.

Elijah took off his ornamented cloak, wrapped it up in a roll, struck the water, and all of a sudden the water divided into two parts! One side of the river stood still opposite the other until the two of them crossed over on dry ground.
