'Sold' in the Bible
And Jacob said, Swear to me first. And he sware unto him. And he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
Are we not accounted by him as foreigners? for he hath sold us, and hath also quite devoured our money.

But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

after that he is sold he may be redeemed: one of his brethren may redeem him;
And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he sold himself to him unto the year of jubilee: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years; according to the time of a hired servant shall he be with him.

Notwithstanding, no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto Jehovah of all that he hath, whether of man or beast, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto Jehovah.
