'Warrior' in the Bible
Cush was the father of Nimrod; he began to be a valiant warrior on the earth.

Can spoils be taken from a warrior, or captives be rescued from a conqueror?

Warrior leaders will speakfrom the middle of Sheolabout him and his allies:They have come down;the uncircumcised lieslain by the sword.
You'll be fully satiated at my table, dining on horse flesh, horsemen, elite soldiers, and every kind of warrior," declares the Lord GOD.
Then a warrior king will arise; he will rule a vast realm and do whatever he wants.
Beat your plows into swordsand your pruning knives into spears.Let even the weakling say, “I am a warrior.”
So the swift runner will not escape, the valiant will not fortify his strength, and the mighty warrior will not save his life.
Near is the great day of the Lord,Near and coming very quickly;Listen, the day of the Lord!In it the warrior cries out bitterly.
Yahweh your God is among you,a warrior who saves.He will rejoice over you with gladness.He will bring you quietness with His love.He will delight in you with shouts of joy.”
For I have bent Judah [as] my bow; I have set Ephraim [as an arrow]. I will set in motion your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Javan. I will wield you like the sword of a warrior.
Ephraim will be like a warrior,and their hearts will be glad as if with wine.Their children will see it and be glad;their hearts will rejoice in Yahweh.
