Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus knowing his hour was come to pass out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, loved them to the end.
Hereby was manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
And God who knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving the Holy Ghost to them, even as also to us.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Let not him that eateth, despise him that eateth not: and let not him that eateth not, judge him that eateth; for God hath received him.
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also hath received you, to the glory of God.
Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the Sons of God; therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know, when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every one that hath this hope in him, purifieth himself even as he is pure.
But as many as received him, to them gave he privilege to become the sons of God, to them that believe in his name: Who were born, not of blood, nor by the will of the flesh, nor by the will of man, but of God.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the Sons of God. For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again unto fear, but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The same Spirit beareth witness with our spirits, that we are the children of God.read more.
And if children, then heirs, heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ: if we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying Abba, Father.
Of his own will begat he us by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and every one who loveth him that begat, loveth him also that is begotten of him.
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the world.
For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee; for I have much people in this city.
By whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in him.
By whom also we have been introduced through faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
For by grace ye are saved through faith; and this not of yourselves:
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Having therefore, brethren, free liberty to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us through the veil, that is, his flesh, And having an high-priest over the house of God;read more.
Let us draw near with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Who is an earnest of our inheritance, till the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of his glory.
not made with hands, that is, not of this building, And not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, entered in once for all into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
I say, of his righteousness in this present time, that he might be just, and yet the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus.
And not as the loss by one that sinned, so is the gift; for the sentence was by one offence to condemnation; but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is also at the right-hand of God, who likewise maketh intercession for us.
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful, and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
