And as it is appointed to men once to die, and after this the judgement;
But why dost thou censure thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? since we shall all stand before the tribunal of Christ; for it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So that every one of us shall give an account of himself to God.
For we must all appear before the tribunal of Christ, that every one may receive for the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it were good or bad.
Now is the judgement of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous;
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered together, and burnt in the fire; so shall it be in the end of the world: the Son of man will send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all that commit offences, and those who do iniquity, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire,read more.
and there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. But the righteous shall then shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
seeing it is a righteous thing with God to render affliction to those that afflict you; and to you, who are in trouble, rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven,
So when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon his glorious throne: and all nations shall be assembled before Him; and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats: and He shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.
Wherefore judge nothing before the time; even until the Lord come, who will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every one have praise from God.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements being set on fire shall be dissolved, and the earth and the works therein shall be burnt up.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse, and He that sat upon it is called faithful and true, and in righteousness doth He judge and make war.
to the general assembly and church of the first-born who are written in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect,
Because He hath fixed a day, in which He will judge the world in righteousness, by that man whom He hath appointed thereto; having given assurance of it to all men, by raising Him from the dead.

As to what remains, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: and not to me only, but also to all those who have longed for his appearance.

but I tell you, that of every idle word, which men shall speak, they shall give an account in the day of judgement; for by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Wo unto thee, Chorazin; wo unto thee, Bethsaida: for if the miracles wrought among you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes: therefore I tell you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgement, than for you.read more.

The queen of the South too, shall rise up in the day of judgement against this generation, and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold a greater than Solomon is here.

and when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? and when did we see thee sick, or in prison, and visited thee? And the king replying will say unto them, Verily I declare unto you, inasmuch as ye did it to one of the lest of these my brethren, ye did it to me.
for whosoever shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, in this degenerate and sinful age, of him will the Son of man be also ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of his Father, with the holy angels.

And there is salvation in no other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we can be saved.
and bringing them out, he said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thine house.
God forbid: yea, let God be acknowledged true, though every man be a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, and mightest overcome, when thou judgest. "But if our unrighteousness confirm the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is not God unrighteous, who inflicteth his wrath?" (I speak as a man) God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
it saith to those under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world obnoxious to the justice of God.
Verily, verily I say unto you, he, that heareth my word, and believeth in Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come under condemnation; but is passed from death to life.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through Him.
but when judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
Herein is love perfected with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement; for as He is, we also are in this world.
silver, precious stones, or wood, hay, stubble; every man's work shall be made manifest. For the great day will shew it; because it will be discovered by fire, and the fire will prove every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide, which he hath built upon it, he shall receive a reward:read more.
but if any man's work be burnt, he will be damaged; though he himself shall be saved, but, as it were out of fire.
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing, in his kingdom;
not forsaking our assemblies, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more as ye see the day approaching.
Wait patiently therefore, my brethren, till the coming of the Lord: behold the husbandman expecteth the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it, till he receive the former and the latter rain. Be ye also patient, establish your hearts; for the coming of the Lord is near. Repine not, my brethren, against each other, that ye be not condemned: behold, the judge is at the door.
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on those that dwell upon the earth? And white robes were given to each of them, and it was told them to rest a little while longer, till the number of their fellow-servants, and their brethren that should be killed as they were, should be complete.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in holy conversation and godliness, expecting and hastening on the coming of the day of God, whereby the heavens being set on fire shall be dissolved, and the burning elements shall be melted. But we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwelleth.
