Now, O Israel, what does Jehovah your God require from you? You are to respect Jehovah your God. Walk in all his ways and love him! Serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your being.
Aaron's sons Nadab and Abihu each took an incense burner. They put burning coals and incense in it. Then in Jehovah's presence they offered this unauthorized fire. A fire flashed from Jehovah and burned them. They died in the presence of Jehovah. Moses said to Aaron: This is what Jehovah was speaking about when he said: 'All who serve me must respect my holiness. I will reveal my glory to my people.' But Aaron remained silent.
When all the Israelites saw the fire come down and Jehovah's glory on the Temple, they knelt down with their faces on the pavement. They worshiped and praised Jehovah. They said: He is good; his mercy (lovingkindness) endures forever.
God, the God of Israel, is awe-inspiring in his holy place. He gives strength and power to his people. Praise God!
Surrender to Jehovah and wait patiently for him. Do not be preoccupied with an evildoer who succeeds in his way when he carries out his schemes.

The seed of Israel made themselves separate from all the men of other nations. They publicly requested forgiveness for their sins and the wrongdoing of their fathers.
If I had thought about doing anything sinful, Jehovah would not have listened to me.
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you with all wisdom. Teach and admonish one another with psalms, praises to God, and spiritual songs. Sing with gratitude in your hearts to God.
Ezra took the book and opened it before the eyes of all the people for he was higher than the people. When it was open, all the people stood on their feet. Ezra praised Jehovah, the great God. For a fourth part of the day, upright in their places, they read from the book of the Law of their God. For a fourth part of the day they requested forgiveness and worshipped Jehovah their God.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to him with psalms. For Jehovah is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
David and all the Israelites danced and sang with all their might to honor Jehovah. They played harps, lyres, drums, tambourines, rattles, and cymbals.
Let them praise his name with dancing. Let them make music to him with tambourines and lyres.
The prophet Miriam, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand. All the women, danced with tambourines, and followed her.
You turned my mourning into dancing. You loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness.
