And he said, Draw not near here: put off your shoes from your feet, for the place on which you stand is holy ground.

And when a foreigner shall sojourn with you, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.

And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest perhaps the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were greatly afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

And Moses spoke unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he has heard your murmurings.

And he said unto the people, Be ready by the third day: come not near your wives.

And let the priests also, who come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.

And the people stood far off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come near; neither shall the people go up with him.

And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of meeting, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute forever unto him and his descendants after him.

When they go into the tabernacle of meeting, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD:

And it came to pass, as soon as he came near unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger grew hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and broke them beneath the mount.

And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.

And afterward all the children of Israel came near: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him on mount Sinai.

When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.
